I got a small Clairefontaine sketchbook, watercolour paper, about A5 size, fairly light weight and I was testing it so see how it would work for travelling, as I don't want to take my big sketchbook. It's pretty good, actually, a little bit of buckling with the watercolour, but the colours are fresh, and it's smooth enough for line tools.
I normally sketch in an A4 sketchbook, so I don't know how I'll feel about the smaller size? Maybe I need a change?
