Out sketching with Dublin Sketchers in Blackrock. It reminded of the time I used to work there. My first job! And I got to see the sea every day on my commute there. No wonder I never wanted to leave Dublin!
The village has changed a lot since then. A lot more cafés. And terraces! Who would have thought it would take a pandemic for us to embrace the idea of eating and drinking outdoors!!
Lovely catchup with everyone afterwards - thankfully the weather stayed dry and we were able to throw our sketchbooks on the grass and let everyone look at them. Including a gentleman who was just walking by and loved the idea of what we do!
