It was fantastic that Dublin Sketchers decided to meet up on New Year's Day. There was a good buzz in town, music on Meeting House Square, and a nice atmosphere at the Wild Duck pub. I sketched it all. I just wish I had sketched some more in the pub, while chatting with the others, but I was waiting for paint to dry on my last sketch! I enjoyed the chat and banter so much. It was laid back and fun. Just what I needed.
