Two more versions. It's always nice to see them on the screen, so I can better assess them. The first one, I love the yellow hill behind. It's morning, and the sun is hitting that hill. It's backlit, while the hills closer to us are still in darkness. And I used Grey of Grey for the mist on the right-hand side.
For the second one, I like the trees on the left better. Well, they are conifers after all. But there isn't as much interest on the hill on the right. I used an eradicator brush (from Rosemary & Co) to create the mist, which works too. And the water is much calmer. I am getting closer to what I want. But I still feel the need to explore before I conclude!
