It's so true that the simplest subjects are the hardest to paint! I've had this photo in my collection since 2008. And I thought it would be a nice easy view to tackle - a big bright bush, some distant trees, shale rocks and a little water. Glad I painted this on a small piece (one eighth sheet). Will try again!
