Acrylic monoprint on Bristol board. About A4 format. The initial inspiration for it was a painting of stones I had come across. But it evolved in a different direction as I added layer after layer. I decided I wanted a more abstract look, so I worked on the composition rather than on a life-like look. I used positive and negative space hand-cut stencils.
It needs good light for the subtle colour shifts to shine through, but I think it will look well.
