Two sketches done at the United Arts Club in Dublin with Dublin Sketchers. The first one (on the right) probably took me twice as long as the second one. I found all the angles under the roof quite tricky to draw, and of course I was looking up and down, so it's a composite view anyway. Plus I moved the jacket from a different location, just saw I wouldn't have to draw the ladder that was leaning against the wall. I knew the ladder would be too hard!. Then I went downstairs and drew the lady who was completely absorbed in her sketching. It was a very peaceful setting, and it was a nice way to relax after the first sketch.
