No matter how long the journey, I always come back to watercolour. Love tilting the board and watch water carry pigment across the paper. And of course I love granulating pigments! I used gouache for the sea. I think I can push the idea further, more water, more pigment. And for these types of paintings, I always love Saunders Waterford cold press paper. Will I have the energy for one more? Not today.
