Another day, I took the mine trail up the mountain. When I got back to the apartment, I wanted to explore more of the mark-making inspired by the glistening rocks under the soft drizzle that descended on the landscape.
A3 heavy cartridge paper and Pilot ink in take-sumi colour (it translates as bamboo charcoal in Google Translate). I love the pale blue that appears when you add lots of water! The green splashes are with the Pluto and Beyond ink, with some yellow shellac ink too. I did cover the table with a sheet of plastic and a large towel and I was careful not to splash towards the beautiful beige curtains!
