I love doing art while talking at the same time with friends. Some people paint to music - that doesn't really work for me. But chatting and painting gets me out of my head and into flow. On this occasion, I was experimenting with inks. A yellow Sennelier shellac ink and a Pilot (take-sumi colour) ink produced interesting effects. The rest, not so sure, but it's all part of the process.
As we're switching to Autumn, I'm inspired again by some of the landscapes around Cill Rialaig - a sense of peace and calm, and a quiet voice emerging.
