More impressions of the Beara landscape, done from photos after a longer walk

That morning, I went for a walk with minimum supplies, and I didn't even use them. I walked the loop path that starts at the caravan park near the beach. I had no idea how long the walk would be. But it was so peaceful and beautiful that I kept going for about 2 hours I think. Didn't encounter any cows in the fields, thankfully. Did encounter a couple of horses, they took one look at me and then ignored me. I'm a city girl and was very grateful that they were not more curious.

Beautiful views of the cliffs all around. Sea was calm, Sky was grey. Met only one other walker, at the very start, and that was it. Was alone with my thoughts and my phone's camera for the rest of the journey. It was bliss.

When I got back to the apartment, I worked from some of the photos I took, with the memory of the peacefulness I experienced still fresh in my mind. All I wanted to do was collect impressions and marks that I will use in future work.

All on A3 heavyweight cartridge paper, various inks, gansai tambi and soft pastels.
