Surprisingly, Bruce was still Down Under when I sketched this one! Maybe he was so fed up with me looking at the same building over and over, and painting it and drawing it, that he decided to go on a little holiday?
I certainly felt that the work I put in the previous exercises paid off dividends here. I knew how each part connected to the next. The tower is still way way too short, but I love how the volumes stand clearly in front of each other.
And buttresses is my new favourite thing!
