Night

The theme for Dublin Sketchers was Night-time. I decided to work from a photo, as I didn't feel like going into the night to sketch. (Although, as soon as this pandemic is over, I will go out and sketch morning noon and night as much as I can!). I worked with a limited palette, which I'm glad I did, although I'm not too satisfied with the result.

And as for the facing page, let's just say that a bit of collage was needed to hide all sorts of wrongs!
