Cherry Blossom time

I'm still getting my head around Apple Photos - I've created Smart Albums that capture photos in certain date ranges. But my Spring 2020 'smart' album has got videos from the Maldives, and I haven't been there since 2014! And I just don't like the idea of having all my photos in this big library file that could crash any time. So I'm exporting files to Finder, but it's all messy. And yes, I have watched a techie video and read a techie article on how to organise my photos, but it's not answering my basic question, which is Why can't you work like Picasa?
Rant over
So yesterday and today, our neighbour's cherry tree was at its peak, and I can't let a year go by without sketching the cherry blossoms. I normally would go down the road and sketch a row of cherry trees, but in this day and age, you can't do that, just in case someone comes over and stands over you to see what you're doing. And rather than feeling grateful that someone is interested in my sketch, I would feel like a sitting duck and freak out!
So, the best spot to sketch our neighbour's cherry blossom is from the back of our garden, which is not the most scenic, but it made for a good subject all the same. I think I'm going to specialise in sketching weeds for the next while!

I haven't looked for a Ulysses quote yet, but I'm sure I'll find one, although it's set in June, so no more cherry blossoms then. But maybe dandelions flower all summer through?
Im always like that in the spring
There you go, I found my quote!

And I can't let you go without reminding you of The Dance of the Cherry Trees, by John Spillane
