Interesting to compare a sketching trip versus a holiday. On this recent sketching trip, I would sometimes make 8 sketches in a day. Compared to one or two on a holiday. Good to remember and take note of what I used.
The only tools I didn't use at all were my Artgraf tin and the Kooh-i-Noor magic pencil. I didn't use all the colours in my palettes, but I actually used more watercolours than I had anticipated. Needless to say, though, that I didn't need the watercolour tubes at all (except for a tiny tube of indigo, as we were mixing darks at a workshop). Hopefully I will remember!
And I managed not to set foot in an art store! A miracle!
