Anyone wonder how I know the colours in my palettes so well - I do a lot of this!
The series on the left are the colours I haven't explored much yet .
The series on the right is mostly what I used in my last painting, plus a couple of others that I think will work with them.
I might mix and match, but it's good to try and keep my paintings with no more than 12-14 colours. It is important in terms of harmony, so this is why I'm going to keep them in separate areas on my palette! And memo to self, each pan needs to be fixed with a glue dot, or when I'm clumsy, I just end up with 24 pans scattered around the floor!
