I have to admit - I am having a great time playing with opaque and semi-opaque media. It's really suiting the energy I need to get out of my body and onto the page at the moment. It's hard to imagine that I would be able to get back to pure watercolour after this orgy of mark making! Let's not worry about it for now. All that matters is that I'm rediscovering my state of flow, following what interests me, honouring who I am when I'm at my most authentic. And some day, I will figure out how to transfer this energy to my watercolour painting again!
