So here is my final project from the Laura McKendry class on Domestika. An amazing teacher who really helped me get through the mental block of drawing birds! And although this is just in watercolour, I got to explore my subject using all the crayons and inks that were languishing in my art room. It's been a wonderful journey! I might do one more where the bird (a rook in this case) takes up more of the page. (Watercolour on Quarter sheet cold press watercolour paper).
