All pigments are not created equal

PB36 it said. One was Schmincke, and called Cobalt Cerulean. The other was Sennelier, and called Cobalt Green. Same pigment. Two very different colours. Both gorgeous. The 1 and 2 on the left show each of these mixed with a red-burnt sienna mix (Daniel Smith Permanent Alizarin Crimson and Transparent Red Oxide). And Column 3 on the right is Column 2 mixed with Hansa Yellow Medium (Daniel Smith). I'm really loving that green!
