I tend to sketch from the inside out. By which I mean that I see a detail I like and I start from that. But on this occasion, I drew the window first, then I used that to draw everything I could see through it! I can see the advantage of the method, but it doesn't come naturally to me, no matter how many times I've seen it explained!
But anyway, this is not about the method. It's about the wonder of sketching at every opportunity. Life is full of waiting time. Sometimes, I just look at Instagram and lose half an hour. And sometimes I sketch.
