I was so glad that Shelley was able to get a connection from her campervan! We spent 15-20 minutes catching up, and then we both started painting and our conversation dropped off as we were concentrating.
I picked up a square brush, something I rarely use, but the shape of the flowers called for it, and I just kept going. A dark background (Quin rose, Cascade green, phthalo turquoise) and some orange to hint at the light from inside the house.
Very different from what I've been doing lately, but I like it! And now I'm ready to move on!
