Fireplaces and Christmas decorations go well together! This is a composite view - the image at the bottom has our Christmas decorations and fairy lights, painted from life, and the fireplace of a friend, done via Zoom, with the brick from our own fireplace on the left merged in. The image at the top is from Zoom - that lovely fire burning during our Zoom chat was such a heart-warming sight. You can't beat a real fire, even if it's experienced via Zoom!
PS: the elephant and the whale were also done via Zoom. I feel I'm living in virtual reality these days!
