And when you're in experimentation mode, there's nothing wrong with using wax-resist and watercolour pencils! I am quite obsessed with these exposed rocks of the Beara Peninsula, with the tectonic pushing and shoving there for all to see. Maybe I will keep these for another exhibition.
I had to edit the original version (below), as I saw a man's face in profile, with a helmet, at the top right. Do you see him? Plus, I like stronger colours than this.
