City Assembly House

Dublin Sketchers were invited to sketch inside City Assembly House, home to the Irish Georgian Society. Lovely views inside and out.
I bit a little more than I could chew, but hey, that's the view that caught my eye, so I had to stick with it, and I tend to dive right in, rather than take five minutes to figure out how I'm going to tackle (still watching the rugby - the English are winning - I know I know, Ireland won against Scotland, but I'm still in catchup mode!) the scene. I worked in watercolour pencils, and then found I couldn't use fountain pens to add lines. But It kind of worked out in the end.
