A tree from life

Day 11? I'm starting to lose track. The challenge here was to paint a tree from life on larger paper. Too cold to stand outside, no matter how wonderful the light! So I painted from our upstairs window. In watercolour. The first one was a disaster - it got worse when I added oil pastel. It bothered me for a whole day. Then I did another version. The light was no longer golden, but I'm much happier with the result.
