Something I don't do every day. Actually, I'm pretty sure this was my first time. I went on a march. To protest against the State handing over the National Maternity Hospital to the Sisters of Charity.
The event was organised by a number of groups, including the
National Women's Council of Ireland and
Uplift

It was a beautiful day. About 2,000 people marched from the Garden of Remembrance to Merrion Square. I chatted to a very nice lady called Margaret. And I felt I was taking part in something bigger than all of us.
And I did a sketch, which I coloured when I got home!
