I wasn't happy with the red in my poppies, too dark, too heavy. I have a lot of reds in my bag of tricks. Here are just a few. I think the best colour for these poppies is White Nights Golden, a lovely yellow-orange. I'll have to rethink my greens, though, change them to purple-blue. Not sure I'm ready for that yet!
