Here I tried my poppies with Golden and Ruby red I think, both White Nights watercolours. But this is just a wash, not really a painting. Simple subjects can be the hardest to execute!
PS: not sure how I'm feeling about using Russian watercolours with the current situation. They are supplied by a lovely small Irish business, run by a husband and wife team. Does one make up for the other? Never thought that I would be thinking about my paints in geo-political terms!
