I have a dozen or so favourite colours that I use most of the time in my sketches and paintings. But every so often, I feel the need the need to try something new. And then I go down the colour rainbow rabbit hole! And it becomes so hard to decide what to use! Most of the time, once I start sketching, it doesn't matter so much, as I can mix more or less everything with everything. When it comes to painting, I need to think about my colours before I get started so I can have a colour dominance and harmony! I need to think about that more, actually! Dominance - colour, shape, value!
