
Spent a good bit of yesterday afternoon working on this little watercolour. Again was inspired by the same
ArtTutor video (or
here if you don't use Pinterest).
I started with a detailed drawing, and then I was afraid to lose the lovely lines and shapes, so I used Permanent Rose (PV19), a lovely transparent colour.
I didn't really think of my composition when working on this. It's just a little practice painting after all.

Here is the original drawing (I've darkened the photo so you can see it better). I'm glad I took a photo of it. I think I like the drawing better than the finished painting!
