Merrion Square - Dublin Literature Festival

A quick sketch done in Merrion Square, where the Dublin Literature Festival was held a couple of weeks ago. It's lovely to see the city alive again. I didn't have time to do more, so this sketch will remain without colour, but I feel I learned a lot from Federica and I managed to create an interesting composition, with a person in the foreground, telling more of a story.

I might be tempted to paint that sky, though! I took this photo just as it was starting to rain. I love these heavy skies. But that is another story, for another day maybe!
