Grafton Street from above

We were supposed to be somewhere else. But I didn't check that the café was open. So we ended up at the rooftop café in Marks & Spencers Grafton Street. One of the hidden gems of the city, not for its food, which is probably ok, I just haven't tried it, but for its views over the jumble of roofs in the city centre. It's also famous for its seagulls, who will hound you if you're eating outside.
We stayed indoors. I worked quickly, jumping between pen and grey marker so that I could notice the shadows before the sun moved to the West.


There's a glass roof. A good spot to observe seagulls from below. Where do they tuck their legs?
