Weeks before Poznan, all I could think of was Poznan. Then there was a week in Poznan. Then I was sick for a week. So, no wonder it feels like I haven't painted in ages. And yes, it feels like I no longer know how. But it's not the first time, and I know what to do. Start small, with some colour swatches. And let the rest take care of itself. I have a small Aquarius palette I bought in Poznan, and two pans with interesting colours. One I call crazy grey, because I can't pronounce nor spell it - it's a bit like Moonglow. The other colour is called Lava.
I also played with mixes left over in my big studio palette, and added ink marks. Nothing much, but it's a start. And also, I'm celebrating my first night without cough suppressant in a week!! It's a start!
