Rebellious sky

You know how it is when something feels right? Somehow, Rebellious felt 100% right, so I moved to Quarter Sheet straight away. It was done in less than 2 hours (yes yes, 60 years and 2 hours). And to me, it's still a sky from the Beara Peninsula, where all my inspiration has come from in the last year or so.

I love the strong contrast between light and dark, and between soft and hard and rough edges. All of that from working wet, and then dry and then rewetting again and dripping water through the drying watercolour.

If you're wondering, no, we don't have tornadoes in Ireland, but skies do get pretty dramatic at times.
