I am looking for the balance when too realistic and too vague abstract. It's there, I can feel it, just beyond my reach. Not quite there yet. I'll keep pushing. I do like the mix of Ultramarine Deep and Burnt Umber, with the addition of Hansa Yellow Medium for the ground. And I love using watercolour with lots of water! Hansa Yellow Medium is probably the yellow I use the most. I also love Monte Amiata Natural Sienna, but I'm not using it as much at the moment. What's your favourite yellow?
