This is probably why I prefer watercolour to pencils - it took me about 2 hours to draw these in coloured pencils (my new Luminance colour pencils, which are gorgeous by the way). Granted, I was chatting with Shelley at the same time. But normally in that time, I can do a half-sheet watercolour if I'm on a roll!!
That said, I'm very happy with my little pumpkins, that Brendan gave me before Halloween (yes, if you're reading this on Instagram, we're probably close to Christmas - sorry for being so far behind in posting!). And I'm happy with my drawings. It's like everything else, if you practise, you can get better. And I might find a way to incorporate some colour pencil work in my sketching!
