This streak of lack of inspiration is going longer than normal. But I keep painting and sketching through it. I might not paint paintings, but I keep putting brush to paper all the same, playing with colour, brushstrokes, value and composition. Well, not much composition in this one really - just waves comes at you! A mix of emerald green and paynes grey makes a lovely dark sea - very West Coast of Ireland, where you can get Carribean turquoise when the sun is shining, but a much darker green when the skies are grey.
