I didn't feel like going to the Hugh Lane Gallery. It's a fine place. It currently doesn't inspire me to sketch, though. With the Lunar New Year celebrations in full swing in Dublin, it was an easy decision for me. Give me a crowded location with lots of people and colours, and I will always pick it over a museum!!
When the dragon arrived, I had to sketch it, never mind that it was going to interfere with my crowd!! And then a lady came onto the stage and it seemed that they were taking a break and it wasn't clear to me when the next act was going to show up. So, I left the page unfinished. I added text later, and a New Year rabbit from a photo.
And I called it done!!
