This was just as my cold was settling in, and I think you can see the uncharacteristic tightness of my drawing. That is often a problem for me when I go for a three-step sketch - step 1: draw everything, step 2: colour in, step 3: bemoan the fact that my sketch lacks life.
But I managed to find a passage in Ulysses that worked for me - it's a stretch, I know, but still!
'A star, a daystar, a firedrake, rose at his birth.'
