Grafton Street
A bit chaotic. I tried to portray people in different planes, the ones near me, and the ones on the other side of the street. Failed miserably. I should have placed heads and feet first, and then I should have used less detail and less colours in the background. Ah well.
Adding a few Japanese stickers made me happy, and yes, there was one very tall young man that went by!
I had painted the Brown Thomas windows red before I found this quote in Ulysses, I swear!
'He passed, dallying, the windows of Brown Thomas, silk mercers. Cascades of ribbons. Flimsy China silks. A tilted urn poured from its mouth a flood of bloodhued poplin: lustrous blood. '
