Trees and a building

I was out at the Botanic Gardens with Dublin Sketchers recently. It was a beautiful day, cold though. But we had arranged access to the Gallery, the lovely room above the cafeteria, and we had panoramic views of the gardens. And watercolour was drying fast enough that I could work in two layers!

I had enough time to do another sketch in the glass house, until my pen started leaking. I think I hadn't inserted the cartridge fully and maybe the heat inside made it pop. Or maybe I need to retire my lovely Lamy Safari! Finally starting to use some of the freebies sketchbooks I got in Porto!
