Glendalough - painting 2
Second version. Much happier with the looseness of it compared to the first version. Not quite the way I want to paint in general, but the subject matter was so bucolic that I would find it hard to make it more abstract. I think I'm going to leave it at that, and try another scene next. It feels like it's such a long time since I've painted full watercolours (apart from portraits and life drawing and urban sketching) that I need to paint paint paint to find my feet again!
