Before things get busy again, we decided to go and visit friends. I was glad I did these two sketches in Donegal - a watercolour of the bay looking down towards Sligo, and a pen sketch of the main street, as seen from the house, which dominates the town. These two views are part of the same vista, but I would have needed an accordion sketchbook, and a lot more time, to tackle the whole view.
