Sometimes you need to crop a painting to make it work. This was definitely the case. Still not very happy with these clouds. I must try them in watercolours, as that's a theme I'm exploring right now. But I found that gouache is a bit too solid. Or rather, I haven't found a good way to paint clouds in gouache, yet.
Yummy colours - probably all too dark for clouds, but Irish skies are like that!
