MHBD's Fake Journal Day 15
I spent a lot of time on this page, and I think it shows. Its' overworked, not as vibrant as some of my other fake journal pages.
It all started with the background I chose. I picked a Gelli-printed baking sheet, not realising that the paint would not adhere well to it. DOH! It's a non-stick paper after all!
So it took a few layers of gouache, which caused plenty of buckling.
And I picked Hong Kong stamps, thinking they were Japanese. I don't know anybody in Hong Kong, so I have no idea how I got these.
But there are some nice colours.
