All week, I was photographing skies in front of our house, and it was all grey grey grey. But about 3 weeks ago, we had the most crazy sunset and the kind of light that reminded me that I couldn't live anywhere else!
I decided not to be too ambitious, and painted this on a quarter sheet cut in 2 (do watercolour people call it eighth sheet?). Three pigments: Hansa Yellow Medium, Quin Rose (PV19) and Cobalt Blue. And I did think about my wash, composition, value and temperature! I hope it shows!
