Between the Trees - Ticknock

Often the light is just magical. You just have to be there to notice. This is from a photo I took on one of our walks up the Dublin Mountains, in Ticknock. It was Timber's walkies - yes, it's a good name for a dog who likes to walk in the woods, isn't it!! - and we were early enough that it was still really peaceful. The light was streaming between the trees. So lucky to have so much beauty within a 12-minute drive from home!
Three pigments mostly: Hansa Yellow Medium, Quinacridone Rose and Cobalt Blue. With touches of Ultramarine Blue and Transparent Red Oxide for darks, and Lavender where I needed a more opaque effect.
