I'm still trying to cull my stash of pencils for Toulouse. I keep adding more. Like add 5, remove 1. That's not the way it's supposed to be. I'm not very methodical in my choices. I do lots of swatches, but I don't write the names down. Too much work! Purples and turquoises are favourite colours. But I know the colours of Toulouse are very different from Dublin. And I also know that I can recreate these colours with my watercolour set.
I know how much I can carry, and the weather will probably be extremely hot, so I will have to reduce the load, so I can carry water - I never carry drinking water in Dublin. We forget how good life is here!
Here is where I am with it. And yes, there will be some sketching rock stars colours! And keep scrolling, and you will see the non-methodical swatches that have led (or not) to this choice.
