Too many colours?

This is what happens to me when I have too many colours! I have to use them all in the one painting!!

I just have to keep telling myself this is just a phase! 

Forcing myself to reduce the number of colours. Two darks, one cool, one warm. Two lights, one cool, one warm. And a bright colour! Much more interesting in my mind. I do need to be more patient when painting rocks, though. Nothing new there!
