Really enjoyed painting this one. I was working from one of the cropped pieces I did the other day, while looking at a landscape from the Beara Peninsula, a photo I took on the Copper Mines trail. The feeling of space and peace, and also the ruggedness of the place.
It's about 56x56cm, on Hahnemuhle Cornwall paper. (Second photo taken in the mirror so you have a better idea of size)
